Description
Yesterday we went on a trip to the northern part of Israel , we visited the Hula nature reserve where thousands of migrating birds stop over on their long trek from Europe to Africa .
The photo shows the Hula valley as seen from the Golan heights ,the valley is part of the Syria African rift
and is a gigantic crack in the earth's surface which runs from Syria to Mozambique and is 6500 km long . The whole course of the valley is characterized by an abundance of underground springs (fresh water, salt water, sulfur and hot springs), bizarre land and rock formations and earthquakes.
