Good heavens, such lovely flowers, but do they always hang down from a branch like that? Reminds me of bats in a cave. I had never seen nor heard of this species until this very moment. Really fascinating, with heart shaped petals that resemble sliced beets in color and texture. And dig those hanging participles, or pistils :). To use the current vernacular, this is really cool!

Low sneak factor/high beauty ratio! This is a great image, I love the vivid color and the sense of natural order here. The title of the piece evokes a lot of what is in this picture itself and causes the mind to wander into a world dominated by these flowers. The sense of color and the balance of shapes is beguiling, and all around, this is an utterly superb image.
