Description

I took this on my last trip to Nevada.I was lucky to spot from the air.the only way I noticed was the bright gravel roads.this is for Digimon other wise known as Eric thanks for viewing and any comments I think that I heard that this farm is 30 miles from the front gate on the left side to the end on the right side Turbines are used in nearly all electrical generating technologies, and wind power is no different. The blades — or rotors — of a wind turbine are similar to airplane blades. Strong, steady winds cause the blades, some as long as 130 feet, to rotate a turbine. The rotating motion of magnets in the turbines causes an electric field that can generate a flow of electrical current. Wind turbines are usually mounted on towers from 100 feet to 300 feet tall because wind speed increases with height. Turbines operate best in areas where wind speeds are 16 mph to 20 mph at a height of 50 meters. Wide open West Texas, where the winds whip across the plains, is an ideal location for wind projects, also called wind farms.

For sure this is interesting, but you could (or you SHOULD) improve it a lot! First, try to take the photo with an efficient UV filter screwed onto the lens, this should diminish the bluish tint of the distant elements. In your camera's menu, because you have a professional digital SLR, there is certainly some adjustments to increase contrast and you can also make the choice in the white balance to decrease the blues (make the choice of shadows, for example). BUT, given the existing picture, you notice that the bluish trend and the contrast loss is higher in the left and above zones. Therefore, in Photoshop (starting from the 6 at least for the Pro model and even since the Photoshop Elements 1.0) you can apply Adjustment Layers. Do use their Layer Masks to apply inside this Mask a grey linear and oblique gradient so that the effect of the Adjustment Layer is maximum at the upper left area of your pict and very reduced bottom right; i.e. the gradient has to be white up and left, and black down and right. I made a test on your pict with 4 superimposed Adjustment Layers; this does not make a good image but improves it significantly.

if I had a clear view without a discolored jet window shooting through two layers of lexan and motion of the jet in wind turbulence then I could have had a clear picture with no discolorations

Fantastic view from above. Wind farms are high on the agenda over here for the future generating schemes too. I guess the skyline will change dramatically in the next few years. Excellent capture.
