"I am a deeply superficial person." "I'm afraid that if you look at a thing long enough, it loses all of its meaning." "Isn't life a series of images that change as they repeat themselves?" ~ Andy Warhol
Here is a image set from my old Deep Ice series (currently at pages 31 and 32 of my gallery). Below are links to the individual images.
Deep Ice I Deep Ice II Deep Ice III Deep Ice IV Deep Ice V Deep Ice VI Deep IceVII Deep IceVIII Deep Ice IX
In Deep Ice III, I played with a few variations on the original. Here they are in all of their RGB glory. Please excuse the JPEG artifacts and extreme length of this triptych. I always thought the bubbles in this image looked like some sort of robot or golem trapped beneath the ice. -----

Very "cool". I love them all. I think the top one looks like a goldfish through a glass of beer near the red light district. lol

LOL is it me or is there a TMNT hiding in there? That was the first thing I saw...Love the triptych idea and the way you handled the colors is wonderful. Does your deep ice series go that far back? I thought it started with you and Andreas in the forum...I remember trying this myself but mine stunk like nobody's business, lol. Anyway, great work here, Kortaloo. All the best- M :^)
