Description

After three days travelling on a train, I was sitting in my sleeper cabin taking shots of the world going past. I had about 2 seconds warning of this Willy Willy, I think its called a Dust Devil in other parts of the world. This photo is a prime example of the harshness of Southern Australia during a drought. The dead sheep just adds to the stark landscape and the soil being taken away by the wind... Not bad for through the grimy window at 80kms an hour. A slight tweak of colours to bring out the Willy willy. Thnx for stopping by and hv a gd 1.

Great that you noticed this spiralling willy willy. Me being from the UK, I have never heard of them called that, but seen images on TV similar. At first I only noticed the stunningly dry landscape, impressive on its own.
