Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

For it is only when you pour it out that more comes in. Think of the Dead Sea, water comes in, but never goes out and that's why it is Dead, but when we let out or Share as you have done, then more will come and it is alive. Lovely Words Marilyn!!!!

Frist of all, write first for yourself. That being said, I think you're onto something here...go with it. It's another wonderful way to express oneself. Lastly, keep on keepin on dancin! :)

Ah yes, grist for a Shirley Temple, Cyd Charisse or Eleanor Powell movie...or possibly Gregory Hines, James Cagney and Sammy Davis Jr. Reminds me of the old film, 42nd Street. In any event, great image and wonderful creativity. I didn't realize you were so talented. And finally, do you physically tap dance yourself?
