When you hear twin fiddles and a steel guitar,
You're listening to the sound of the American heart. ♥ ♥ ♥
And Opry music ♫ ♪ ♫ on a Saturday night
Brings a smile to your face and a tear to your eye.
Sing a song about the heartland,
The only place I feel at home.
Sing about the way a good man
Works until the daylight's gone.
Sing the rain on the roof on a summer night
Where they still know wrong from right.
Sing a song about the heartland.
Sing a song about my life.
There’s a place where mornings are an endless blue
And you feel mother nature walk along with you,
Where simple people living side by side
Still wave to their neighbor when they’re drivin’ by.
Sing a song about the heartland,
The only place I feel at home.
Sing about the way a good man
Works until the daylight's gone.
Sing the rain on the roof on a summer night
Where they still know wrong from right.
Sing a song about the heartland. ♥
Sing a song about my life. ♫ ♪ ♫

Fantastic sky scape as a backdrop for the rustic old barn, very well chosen lyrics too. It carries something of the mood of the country.

We've been driving by the Renfro Valley barn since the early fifites. I missed a few decades but now we see it again coming to Florida. My dulcimer CD is from West Virginia. I've seen an ox next to a barn like this in Kentucky. The Tennessee walking horses I saw were in California's Palos Verdes horse show. "The Tennesse stud was long and lean, the color of the sun and his eyes were green."

I love these old barns, this one is in need of a little TLC though, I wonder if any barn dances have been held here? I also am a fan of country and western and could listen to it all day. I would love to explore here. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!
