Description
Sometimes a thing is so colossally different in scale from what we are accustomed to that are minds just refuse to see what is all around us. I used to be quite puzzled about how such blatant and obvious answers to the biggest questions were so skillfully sidestepped by the most ardent enquirers. The answer turned out to be governed by the most basic of human characteristics. We see what we want to see. With very few exceptions, newly discovered knowledge is discarded without second thought if it is not the answer that was expected.
A big round of applause to those less provincial icons that have moved a primitive species into an environment still far beyond their understanding.
Leaving remarks: 2+2 is always four. Do the math, and it always shows what's missing. Debating whether 2 is a number or a digit will only keep you from doing the real math.
