Description

The title is a real place but the rest is my interpretation thus I did not list it as "Historical". Originally I was going to make this a bit horrific with arcane medical equipment and "confession" devices. But it developed into more of a statement on isolation and despair which could be applied to everything from a prison or a mental institution to a nursing home. Bryce, Rhino, Photoshop for most textures, others created in Bryce.

I don't often comment on Bryce or other 3d software since I am basically a photographer and feel a bit out of place. Yet, when I see a render which is speaking to me..I must comment. This one speaks. I will not comment on technical stuff even though it looks great to me. I comment more on the subject. This is a powerful image and very stiring, even disturbing, wondering who might have been in that chair and what happened here in our imaginations. Well done.
