Description

Thanks to Alex tfor allowing me to try & work with his SineCity Planet. This is more of a test than anything else but Ive tried to lok at how windows could be incorporated into the structures to give a more "architectural" feel. The FG used for the refelectivity only works on the Silver windows & no reflection is applied to the reamaining mass of the building. Some interesting issues to note are that the Windows use Altitude & GlobalUVPos for the grids...but the whole material needs to be applied in slope position so that the Uprights would only really appear on upright faces. In addition the Altitude blend control really only needs to take efefect from a defeined altitude...here I just applied it all over. The downside of course is the lack of transparency :(( TFV&C Wºz™ Cheers Alex :)

Well - This is one stunning render, it caught my eye immediately. What an excellent tweak, shame about the lack of transparency, that really would have been something. Great one Warren, hope you are keeping well I love this image so much I would to be able to render this at a print-res size, so if it's possible Alex or Warren, let me know, 'nudge, nudge, wink wink' Best As Always Ang

Hi Angela, Hap New Year & good to see you here. Yes Im keeping well but unwell..Ill PM you :)Thx for the comments on the tweak:) Alex owns the worldfile I was just fortunate enough to be able to play with the materials to try & implement windows etc. So if Alex approves the file could be freely available for all :) Else Ill happily supply the "shader" separately which can be loaded to his already available SineCity worldfile :)
