Description

This is Martin's cousin's boy, Jonathan. He's five. He's a natural subject, and loves to have his picture taken! I took this last August at the family reunion, and moved Jonathan from a busy table full of food and relatives to this more "school portrait" sort of background, which I painted in Dogwaffle. I'm not 100% happy with the postwork (you can tell around the edge of his hair that I moved him), but if I wait until I'm perfect, I'll never post a thing! LOL! Many thanks to Martin for obtaining parental permission for me to post this, and even more thanks for everything else.

I didn't even notice the edges of the hair because all I saw was beautiful eyes and a wonderful smile. He looks like the all American boy full of fun and love.

Bit grainy...use a cloth as background, use light(windows, even outdoor?) will give you a more satisfying image.
