Description

I did this one thinking of what I would like the view to be outside my window. But alas I live in Florida so all I see is the beach. Not a bad thing. I have begun playing with digital elevation models or (DEM). These help create detailed terrains. The intial render of just mountains in Terragen seemed incomplete so with the help of Lightwave I added trees, then assembled it all together in Photoshop. I might add this is more photoshop now, then anything else. But it started out 3D... :)

It's a Bob Ross Painting in 3D!! Absolutly Stunning! Could you recomend some tutorials so I could get as good as you...or at least try? ^_^

A most beautiful scene....your postwork is awesome...did you use the old or new Terragen? The new terragen should be capable of making the trees and grass and such very soon. Hopefully images like this will be common...for now...its excellent!
