Description

I wanted to do a surreal and slightly creepy image today. Actually it was an excuse to play with Vali and Lory's scifi wall set!! I like how this turned out...the post work involved hue and satuaration adgustments and some brush work. Used Ron's brilliant scifi and smoke brushes. The cracks are from his brush set too. I am finding it easier now to get my ideas into being, actepted that my strengths run to the surreal. It was a relief comming to this realisation. Well I hope you like this picture, thanks for looking and commenting. Shane

Nice render. Lovely graphical edge to this one. Like the storytelling mood you've gotten into it.

There is a lot to see in this image and it's definitely evocative in so many different ways. Great render all around, especially in the sense of color, light and darkness. Fantastic work!

Amazing artwork! I take it home to have more time to admire it, the lightning is superb and your vision ..., well maybe aquablue is right! ^_^

This qualifies as one of your best, a penultimate fire! Those rich colors are your hallmark. I especially like the fetus, subtle yet qualitative! I tend to agree with aquablue and Akhbour about the smoke. Outstanding addition to your mindscape images.

It's wonderful to come to the realization of what makes you happy to create Shane. I wish that I could get to that place. It has to feel great because it shows in your wonderful and creative pieces. I see that she is still holding her heart. Love that. This has such depth and feeling. I love the colors you've achieved. Excellent work again.

Its been said before, coming to realize what your style is and what satisfies you the most in art is an awesome feeling! You find that when you get to that point, your best work and satisfaction are derived from it. It doesn't hurt to try out new things and grow, but ultimately, we all must do what we are most happy with. For instance, I've learned a lot working with morphs and trying to coax a likeness of a photograph of someone, but it takes a lot of time for me. Then I get a quick idea, throw in my style and the stuff I love most, and its like "bam!" ^^ I came to my own realization when I followed what was most popular as far as views go in my gallery, and what I had the most fun with. Then my mind went "click" and I just knew ^^ An awesome feeling!
