Description
Today our new lightset, IBL Magic, was released. Time to post one of the images I did a while ago to test how Ambient Occlusion works with the set.
I hope that you, the customers, have as much fun with this set as you have it with our other light-products!!
Technical:
This is the set "Winter09" without AO on the IBL because I used a charater that contains AO-nodes in all skin materials. Instead of rotating the figure - like I usually do to catch the most attractive angle of light and scene - I rotated the camera here to catch the most effective lighting.
The render took a while to render - a lot of tests and round about an hour for the final render - but IMHO it was worth it.
Background behind powerage's wall is added in postwork, some laces on the hair that looked paradox and a pokethrough on the dress deleted in postwork, too. the rest was left untouched.
The cool white haircolor is available art ArtCollaborations (http://www.art-collabstore.com/), the sweet ear-morph is part of a freebie for V3 available at Vamp3d.com.

She looks like a elf hooker... you know those ladies of the forest that loiter around broken down ruins in the woods... just waiting to pounce of an unsuspecting woodsman... and give him the offer of his life... "for 5 dolla, me love you long time"... or... maybe that's just something I made up sitting here having just got to work on a Monday morning... and seeing your image just made me wish I was sitting in front of Poser and not some boring CAD program....
