Description

Used a similar system like in the previous post. 2 separate subtrees within the same looped system. A separately looped subtree provides the fainter purple spirals. All layers are mixed with Alpha components. Complexity is provided by the Complex Map component on top of the tree. (Hope the description was not too confusing) No postwork. Thanks for viewing and comments.

Great stuff eonite. Very organic looking. What size was the original and how long did it take you to render? My experience is the more complex and more iterations, the longer and longer the render time. But well worth the wait. :-)

Thanks for the nice comments! Steve, it`s true the number of iterations has a direct influence on the render time. What also slows down rendering is when you use fractal noise components along with a looped system, even more when those are 3D noises. In this case, despite the fact that I used several loops and even included fractal noise for texturing, the render time was quite moderate. The original was 1280/960 and took about 3 minutes. So maybe I will render an animated version of it...
