Description

I know I said I would give it a rest on the country... but someone on here who takes gorgeous pictures of covered bridges got me wondering if there were any in my area (Tennessee) and there are. This one has a side pedestrian walkway and side windows that look out over the Little Pigeon River… Unfortunately it was taken in the dead of winter here, so not as striking as it could be at other times of the year here. So… Fred this ones for you. I know you don't care much for country but the lyrics are pretty and have a message. Song and video by: Wynonna and Naomi Judd, mother and daughter duo now how country is that .. This song and the video they did is about bringing people and different worlds together.. Lyrics: click here Video: click here Emert's Cove Covered Bridge was built to honor Frederick Emert (1754-1829), a veteran of the American Revolution and early settler in the area. So love CAN build a bridge. ........okay I have a whole series I am going to work on next and it won't have any country in it at all... LOL its going to be all about the sky ..

Love can build a bridge but length of ownership is the equity and makes it sweet! Love the classic image and colors!

Thank you all, I can't wait until spring to go back and revisit, the river below it looked stunning. I hope you will all click on the video it takes a minute to load, but it has some stunning scenery. I did have one problem when loading this though , there is no category or genre for Covered Bridges LOL....come on Renderosity add one for Fred... and add Barns while you're at it... take care all !

Awesome capture and POV. Wonderful sky effect. I love how you inserted the Judds' video - I've heard the song many times, but this is the 1st time that I've seen the video. Excellent work

I watched the Judds until Naomi got sick and Wynona put on weight. Then it was Ashley who caught my eye. Maybe I'm still stuck at the Cumberland Gap.

This covered bridge reminds me of one in the Adirondacks in New York. It was painted barn red and was the highlight of the area. I went up there to see it again and found it torn down and replaced with a standard bridge which had no character. Thank you for bringing back a memory.

Happy to see our Tennessee has at least one covered bridge! I've seen them in Alabama and Indiana, will have to make the drive to see this one in the spring~ Very good capture of it even if it is winter, lets the light in for more detail I think~
