I've done some fantasy work using eagles, hawks and cranes as references for wings, but never just the bird. Seeing what you are posting keeps giving me an urge to try these things. (only i'm working on one right now..and if I leave it to do another..well it'll be doomed to be unfinished like so many others! :))Good work with the details but especially with form overall and contrast. The wings are very precise!

thanks for the comments everyone. SimplySabis I know what you mean I have a folder full of unfinished work for the same reason . hope you finish your new piece soon I cant wait to see it , Im inbetween drawings right now I want to do a new fantacy piece all Ive been doing is portraits , but im still waiting for Inspiration , Im thinking of trying my hand with paint .
