Description

I do not know if you can see the person or the mood he/she is in, but I can and that is the way I am feeling at this moment. I do not wish to get on my soapbox, but I am incredibly frustrated. I do not know if parents of todays kids feel the same way I feel at the moment about the school system and what is being taught and when. I just wonder where the common sense has gone? I want my daughter to do well in school like most parents. But I just do not know what in the world to do about what is being asked of our children these days. I support all teachers (God Bless their souls) for all of the things they do each and everyday for our children with little salary or resources! I don't understand the system. I am sorry for this! I am just feeling frustrated, stupid, and overwhelmed at the moment. I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week! Thank you for reading and taking a look! There were so many times when my kids were in school, there were teachers who didn't do their job, other children who made learning for other children miserable and principals who wouldn't do a thing to fix the problems. There are many more incidents, but these were always the recurring three issues. All you can do is make sure your daughter is safe and taken care of. I'll say some prayers for you and hopefully we'll see a happier face soon. Bunny

I got tired of the school system also. They couldn't keep my son safe with the disablity that he has, so I took him out and I'm home schooling him now. It has made a big difference in both our lives. I love this fractal. I see the face, and feel his frustration. Great job!!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! A perfect portrayal of frustration! Bravo Beth! I see a lot more concerned parents working with the Home School. The big thing I see, is the degree of separation between Parents that care, and parents that don't! :(

I like this image very interesting. Yes the system of school suck,,, but you have the control of what , who and how they teach your child. I have always gone to the sorce spoke my mind,I've made appointments and gather them all if need be to get the very best for my kids. I never took no for answer, if i felt they were not getting what is owed to them. Stand your ground and they will listen. They tend to think if you don't speak up for your child you must not care enough for your chiilds education. Speak up and they will jump. If we don't fight they don;t move. As for others I can not speak for nor wish to nor will i make any excuses. what is your child education is what you allow others to give and what you allow them not to give. and nothing else. Happy days to you dear friend.

Oh boy. Brings back memories of the huge frustrations when my daughter was going to school. How can they teach phonetics and then expect these kids to spell and write? What the heck is this new math and being allowed to use calculators in grade school? I feel sorry for a lot of the teachers, too. They cannot teach how they feel is right, they are told what to teach and how to teach it. Everything is so cookie cutter that there's no room for individuality anymore. Oh man, Beth, I better shut up, but I could go on and on and ..... Yeah, I see the frustration in the face of this one. And I don't blame you a bit for being so frustrated in a system that is designed so far from the classroom that they've lost all touch with reality.
