I was born in the flat lands of Kansas in a family of nine. My love of images started when I was 11 in the mid60s and my mom brought home a box full of Life and Look mags. Being the middle child, withdrawn and depressed. I took these images, cut them up made collages to express myself. My Art form begain and so too my love of Photography. I still make Collages from found objects. But once I got my computer I turned to 3D Art. Then replace my old SLR with a digital and here I am. I now live on a small Island in the Puget Sounds. With my husband and two cats and a menagerie of wild life.

How to recognise different trees from quite a long way away. Number 1. The Larch. The Larch. Sorry - I just had a Monty Python flashback moment! This is awesome work - the mirroring makes it look like some weird sort of crab. Beautiful!

LOL, I'd have sworn it was a flame (fractal)! Excellent work on this very cool critter! I love larches, don't have one in the yard, or at the Hollow, but sure would love to have one! If for no other reason, then to make delightful critters! I don't think I've ever seen a weeping larch, you need to get a photo of Cousin It and post it! PS: I use Apophysis .. a lovely free program
