Description

Very sad day today. I had to have my Boo Boo Kitty put to sleep. He was diagnosed with feline luekemia a few months ago....was treated and bounced back, but 2 weeks ago...got ill again, took him to the vet and put on more meds...but this time didn't bounce back...his blood tests showed cancer this time too. He was only 2 1/2 years old...such a very very sweet cat. I have had him since he was born....he was dragged off by a male cat and torn up....we found him and I nursed him back...cleaning his wounds, giving him antibiotics, hand feeding him....we decided to keep him inside and name him Boo Boo kitty cause of all his boo boos. The little beauty mark near his nose and mouth was in the shape of a heart.... I am so sad.... Love to you all, Carol

Oh Carol do I ever know how it feels. So sorry Honey. But when you love them and they've been a wonderful pet, you cannot allow them to suffer. And in your heart of hearts you know when it is time. So very sorry to here your very sad news. I know it hurts so much, I lost Gussie my cat a few years ago to the same illness. I have a photo of her on my living room wall, I still talk to her, it helps me.

Awh sis I am so sorry for the loss of Boo Boo Your cat was beautiful..I felt that way when I lost Huey my daschaund a few yrs back..swore to never get another dog...then a few mos later found a daschund that looked just like Huey and wouldn't ya know it bought him home in my hand.. He weighed all of 3lbs...LOL Winston is just like Huey in every sense of the word...can even bark to jingle bells like he did... I am hoping in time you can get another kitty...Boo boo will never be replaced.. But you can and do have all his wonderful memories and the happiness he bought you while he was alive....It's so odd these animals can get diagnosed with diseases just like humans... Bless your heart..will say a prayer for you tonight...and I know he has crossed that bridge to rainbow heaven Boo boo was and is beautiful..Love the birthmark Hugs Your sis susan~

So sorry to hear of your loss. That's way too young, not that there's ever a good time... Browse through the photography gallery a bit, and notice how many of us post pictures of our cats. You may be able to take some comfort in knowing we all feel the same way about our little furry friends.

Wonderful image but very sad news Carol! A coincidence too, we had one of our cats, Matty, put to sleep today as well, he had leukemia and anemia. I am sorry for your loss Carol.
