Description
Two units, a Sd.Kfz 251-22 an a Sd.Kfz 251-23 of an Aufklarunges (recon) detachment of the 11th Panzer Div. make contact with the leading elements of the attacking 6th Guards Tank Army, New Years' Day 1945 somewhere on the Eastern Front.
The halftrack is a freebie from DMI as is the turret from a DMI Sd.Kfz 222. The Pak 40 is from Vanishing point (free at Cornucopia). All vehicles were modified by me. The figures are from Poser. Weather and snow provided by Vue 6I. Oh yeah, the detailed Russian tanks were done by me in Vue......(Ok, Ok, they're little green rectangles) :)

Those pesky green rectangles! The Russians had millions of them, very dangerous especially the sharp corners.....This is Brilliant!.The snow is awsome.Love your mods to the vehicles.I got this halftrack and it looks great in Poser til you render it, then it's just black???(anyone got any ideas site mail me PLEASE!).

After the Iraqi Freedom penetration I read a lot of books on tank warfare to update to history my first person instruction by military men. Somehow the Jagdpanzers never meet the Stormoviks so I was left kind of panting. Now to see that half tracks had a major innovation let's me know that the White "Superpower" was energizing geopolitics.

Cool reminds me of playing the strategy game Squad Leader and getting the worst of the lot for armor. With any luck the Russians had soem bad luck too and they are coming in BT-7s.
