Description

Here is a priestess of Atlantis as I imagine her. A pale skin because she was spending most of the time in the temple, far from the sun. She wears a headdress covering her eyes just to avoid the light to hurt them when she goes outside... She wears a white outfit with a chainmail skirt. Her jewels are made of orichalcum (the metal that was reputed to have made the fortune of the atlant civilization: an alloy of copper, tin and zinc that had the particularity to imitate gold). She wears a staff in her left hand, a staff surmounted by a crystal globe representing the world. Just a reminder that the atlant civilization was (and is perhaps still) present everywhere... Atlantis is an old myth and the place where this civilization would have existed was never localized with certainty. Some speak of islands, of african countries and even of Latin America... But after all, why not at each of those places? It is something that would be absolutely possible. Even the egyptian civilization is said to be descended from Atlantis... With all that, the idea came to me to represent an atlant priestess. It began with the very special Arkana outfit and I took the final decision when I saw the wonderful Cryptic textures by my friend KALEYA. The idea was perfect for me. I decided to mix two sets: the white/silver and the red one because I needed the jewels to be golden jewels (I wanted to speak of the orichalcum). Coincidence with the egyptian civilization: if you look at the original deco of the white/silver necklace medal in the original set (not visible on the render of course since it was a silver medal), it is an egyptian eye that is represented. But Kaleya did not know my idea! The same deco can be found on the left arm... But you can't see it because of the character's position. I hope that you will like that render and the idea behind it. Thank you for your interest as usual! :) Scene composed in POSER 7 and rendered in VUE 6 Pro Studio. Credits: At DAZ3D: V 4.1; the Tower City (building used: Apartments).
