Description
This is my very first image posted on Renderosity. And it is also the second render I do with TGD2. So please be indulgent.
I always dreamed of taking such a sunset on a picture... Never had the chance, so I'm making one.
Software used : TGD2
Postwork under Photoshop
Render time : 04h53'33''
I know the image is far from beeing perfect, but I wanted to have some critics so I can improve myself. Thanks for commenting !

Thank you for you kind commentaries... I was expecting more critics, because this simple image (water plane, atmos and sun) just doesn't compete with others tremendous renders. But it still friendly to see that some people like my render.

If you want critics i wouldn't post here, you'll mostly only get hugs and kisses. Try the official planetside forums, they have a heap of great people and resources to help you out. But yes in my opinion this is a great beginners image. Crits: Theres a lot of orange in the image and i suggest breaking it up with a bit of contrasting blues and pinks maybe. Superza does this brilliantly in his sunset images, have a look at them to see what i mean, and they're also great inspiration. But keep playing round with tg2 and you will be an expert in no time.

Nice but, in my opinion, "Big suns" made with Terragen 0.9.43 are more beautiful than the ones made with Terragen 2... Welcome to Renderosity, and that's a good beginning with TG 2 ;) Another critic : edges of your big sun are too sharp...But I don't know how to correct this with Terragen 2 ;)
