Description

This is the best I got on the whole name that is up there. If you type in Louisiana Crossroads in google you come up with a list of artists. I could not find "The Lee Boys". Find out a lot I did not know around this part of the country so if you thinking of comeing down this way look this up. I think you may have to add .org on the end of the sreach.
I do not mind comments that people make as to improve on my images I wish there more of them. But then we all do not know what the artist is going for.[we all when back to look at out early work and see how much we grown in art and wonder why no one say this is bad work lol guess we do not wish to hurt feeling and worry about the TOS police too lol]
Yes I had a change to take the full name with out the band there for when I got there; the band was on break. Got there a little late but I heard what they play and bought a cd plus got a change to photo a band in a club. Not all clubs will let you in with a camera but that they right. All they ask was no flash. So I took the photos with no flash and no tripod. Many shots did not come out good. I took shots so I can make a whole image of the band stand[that be three shots in a roll]. They had five member at first and a six one jump in halve way thought and a man came on to talk to the band too ; asking questions
thanks for comments and looking too

shooting music is tough..especially when the lighting is less than perfect..You managed to capture the "feel" very well.. I'll have to check out the band..Maybe sometime I'll get down that way...

I enjoy seeing things through another person's eyes so maybe that's why I don't find much to say that might need correction. What is a correction to one is an artistic bend to another. I like this for the mood you have preserved!

knowing what people posting wants and how they will take a particular advice is a touchy subject.some take it for what it is worth and consider the source.others want to belittle someones work just to make their self feel important and sometimes hoping the person will be so hurt that they leave the gallery I like your work and your concept of what is photogenic

I've always loved your approach to photography, and this one is very impressive, especially considering it was done without a flash! I like the darkness and the red glow. Cool effect, that I bet the club wouldn't mind using for promotional stuff.

Well taken shot in less than optimum conditions. Good work! What genre of music did they play?

I think it's the lighting (or lack of it) that really makes this picture. Had you been allowed to use a flash, it would have ruined the atomoshere of this shot. I like the way you take your photos, and at least to my eye, even the ones you think aren't so good, are good. It's like someone else mentioned, everyone sees a thing differently, one might think way too dark, another might think it's perfect, you know? I like your style and most often am just seeing it for what your showing us, and loving the artistry that comes with it.

I finally found out who was in that Irish bar with the spinner, Erwin Shroedinger. I don't expect you to have known this before this moment but I will test you on it tomorrow.

Cooll looking image Jock. I believe that the reasons no one tears an image down is to help people grow.I know that when I see something wrong in an image I contact the person thru IM.Not do that on the comment of the image. If people would have really told me how bad I sucked when I first started I probably wouldnt have posted any more

You captured the mood of the image well. I know it must be hard to get dark night shots like this, and I have never tried it. Bravo for you!

Nice one Jock. Nightclubs are tough shooting. So are the Lee Boys Blues? I'm always up for good blues bands, especially boogie-woogie blues, like Savoy Brown or Paul Butterfield.
