Description

Bryce/XaraX1/PSP. Some time ago I came across a photo on Google that I loved and thought it would make a great project to try and recreate the scene in Bryce. A few days into working on it I visited the web site on the image and was amazed to find that it wasn't a photo at all but CG made in Povray. I continued anyway and learnt a thing or two along the way. Gilles Tran has kindly given me permission to post the results! Take the link to his site and view his gallery, there is some excellent art there. The Wet Bird is in year 2000. Oyonale.com Modelled in Bryce. Thanks to DMIcars - cars, Beaument - bird, Daz - michael and special thanks to Gilles Tran. Thanks for viewing!

A very good tribute, and shows how art is made regardless of the tools being used.

Super scaling and detail. The POV and DOF are spot on as are the surface mats.

Just Wow! Love the mood. Nothing like a summer shower in Manhattan. The textures must have taken you quite some work. Great job!!
