This i painted these past three days. Painted in photoshop and painter. The photo ref used is from mike's PC and i dont know where he got it from. Painter/photoshop - Approx 30 hours Anna xxxx

beautiful. you've done a wonderful job with the basic tones to her face. the simple and restrained color scheme makes it very striking. i love the delicacy of her nose, and how it contrasts with the strong colors at her lips. i think you handled the background with just the right amount of subtlety and texture. right now i find the difference between the soft, finished and almost photoreal (if airbrushed) skin and the rough, almost unfinished looking hair and jewels jarring. and there's a sort of 3rd level of softness and complexity in her irises and lips. all of those styles work, and the middle works with either end, but all three together makes the image less coherent than it could be. the lack of definition or detail in the dress adds to the dissonance. that said, i just think it could be even stronger than it already is. overall, this is a very impressive job of painting, and i greatly admire your skill.
