At the age of 14, she was thrust into battle and expected to survive. If survive she did, she would be a value to the clan. If not, the clan would be rid of a waste of food and space; rid of genes that would do nothing to further the survival of the clan. Survive she did. And, now, at the age of 16, she was a veteran of many battles and highly respected for her magical abilities. She knew little in the way of love or happiness. There was only training, war, pain, and a battle to survive. Her world is unlike anything we could imagine - unlike anything we could endure. Yet, she survives and will survive. For she is strong, strong of heart, strong of will, and strong of mind. She will survive, as those about her, that drove and tormented her, fall. And, in that, she will find some modicum of happiness and joy - the only that she will ever know.
