Description

Okay, here is something I have had percolating in my head for a while and I thought it might make a nice change of pace render. In the year 2025, when petroleum products became almost totally depleted, there was a call for new modes of transit. In response, the clean Nuclear Fusion engine was invented. This new engine type made all other forms of energy obsolete. At about the same time, the famous White Star line in the UK, was desperately tryng to create new forms of revenue. The timing could not have been better. By bringing together the new Fusion drive technology, with one of the oldest forms of air travel, they hit just the right spot. Brittania along with her sister ships Olympia and Titania, became the three largest airships ever constructed. Incorporating such features as vertical thrusters to improve lifting capabilities, and 32 small but powerful Fusion drive engines, these ships were able to fly at speeds which could rival conventional heavier than air craft. Coincidentally, in Germany, the Zeppelin Corporation had just completed research on a new synthetic lifting gas (LuftGas). this gas gave almost as much lift as Hydrogen, but lacked that gas' more undesireable characteristics. In April of 2025 all three airships were launched from the Zeppelin Works in Bremen. They immediately initiated passenger and cargo serviice on routes thta spanned all of the 7 continents. Okay, everything done in Carrara 6 Pro. No postwork. Markings done in PSP X. Please comment.

Yeh, I was too lazy to go messing around with Terragen, so I just used the C6 Realistic Sky. I don't do a lot of Steampunk themed work. It requires more details than my system can handle right now. Maybe if and when I can upgrade a bit I will try some.

Thanks. I am thinking of possibly putting the model up for sale in my store here, if enough people want it.
