Description
This has got to be the smallest dog in the world. She was just a puppy, and was running around with her person, hiding behind the woman's foot. (The dog was just a tiny bit bigger than the foot!)
I like to get doggie shots where they're looking at the camera, but Mindy Lou just wasn't cooperating. There was another dog there that she was playing with, and I wasn't very high on her list of interesting stuff to look at!
This was shot last July in the parking lot at my office.
ps - Wanna know how small she is? I shot this as a macro! LOL!

I have a very gory story about one of these dogs from the 60's, but I won't go into that. Wonderful macro Tara, you did very well to get it to stand still for a couple of seconds, never mind looking at the camera, they are so darn frisky. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!

Looking at this excellent shot of yours of such a delightful puppy, she appears to be a chihuaha pup, and I have to say after years of taking shots of dogs in show stance for advertising, she to me is being very co-operative, apart from her ear set LOL You have taken a fabulous detailed and sharp shot of her, and I do tend to use macro with my animal photography too, for the closer pics, which I prefer, and also most in my gallery are on the small side of life :o) Great work - hugs Jane xx

She has some pretty coloring..she is a chihuaha for sure...my mom had several of these over the years.. good pets but very protective..they seem to think they are the biggest on the block..
