Oh Beauteous Thing A thing of beauty is a joy to behold. It has within it seeds of amber and gold. From whence have you come? Did you float here on the noon day sun? Your colors are so brilliant and true. You're like a coin, all shiny and new. Oh beauteous wonder please come to me. Fill my heart to overflowing with glee. Oh make my mind so dizzy with delight. Bring to me the sunshine, even at night. Enfold me in your loving arms of gold And share with me your passionate tales of old. Oh beauteous thing that you are, You shine far brighter than any star. Your safe keeping shall be in my heart. As from you, I wish never to part. I shall weave for you love sonnets so bold And the rapture of your mind I would surely hold. You are my most precious gift And into your soul I wish to shift. I ask that you share with me but a moment of time And that you intertwine your heart with mine. I shall paint your days in shades of misty blue And scatter daisies on the grass just for you. 'Til the night shall break into light, I shall hold your heart with all my might. A lovely design with such graceful and delicate flow! So much to see and take in. Like soft little feathers brushing about, dancing in the breeze. I always look forward to reading your text, as whatever your captions seem to be, they are always fascinating and leave me hungry for more, with a new light with which to view the image. Superb composition!
