I have recently been pushing the boundaries of what is possible with the mass market consumer smartphone app called "Wombo Dream" to create machine learning generative art images, often referred to as AI Art. I am torn between photography, video making, electronic music creation, digital painting with a wacom tablet, rendering in Bryce, and using Artmatic Voyager and Artmatic Designer for otherworldly images... Not enough time for everything alas.

The distortion you applied on the terrain looks good, although it
s not easy to beat the original. The sky is beautiful! I might be wrong, but wouldn
t it look more realistic if you tried to match the strata with those ridges, instead of the strata texture being horizontal and the ridges being tilted? Example: http://www.spiti.org/images/Geological-Strata.jpg I know this would be a bit of a challenge but it can be done. Just an opinion as always :-)serendigity59@gmail.com
Thanks for the comments everyone. You are right about the strata eonite. I applied a global rotation to all components and the strata rotated easily to match the tilt of the terrain, however the lower less steep gradient (which is a different compiled tree) lost all colour in the process and is now blank, so I'll have to work out why and correct when I have some more time.

nice wet rock look.

As a former geologist I am not shocked by the layering of the terrain. Excellent alien world.
