Yesterday I got a raise at my job -- been working there 10 years. It was not the first raise, but it was the first in a while. Today I've spent 37 years on this planet. Here's hoping I get at least 37 more, and that my good luck holds out for the rest of year! Thank you all for visiting my gallery, for your comments and for your friendship. Magnificent I say, magnificent! That goes for both the photo and you getting a raise. Terrific color blending and contrasts in this shot, Kort! Oh, and have a very happy birthday, ol buddy! Incidentally, the only time I get a pay raise is when the Social Security Administration throws me a bone at 2.5% a year, which is then immediately eaten up by annual Home Owner's Association fee increases. Like running on a treadmill.
