Description
This is Bridal Veil Falls in Colorado. They get there water from the snow runoff and the running water powers a turbine in the house for electric.

Magnificent and to live there would be unbelieveable! I wonder how many Bridal Veil Falls there are in the US? I knwo of at least 3 others but none of them with this impact.

Not the Bridal Veil Falls I know, but this is magnificent. As does PJ, I wonder how many falls there are by that name. I'm sure it's up there with Lost Lake and Rock Creek LOL.

Awesome Shot!! The last time I was there you couldn't get to the top for all the snow and ice. In May.

Woohoo. I hadn't seen this one, and a search brought it up. Nice. Telluride, eh... Been a while. Used to do Black Bear once a year (which was more than enough), but it's been a few years. Ah, the memories to an old Ouray boy.
