This is utterly fantastic, I love the details captured, especially the yellow bits of pollen not yet released. Fantastic depth as well, and a wonderful contrast between the sharpness closer to us softly blending into the more muted background...the sense of color is consistent through the whole piece, which makes it quite interesting

Lovely soft macro of the beautiful bloom, Melinda! Strange, that doesn't look like any succulent I've ever seen, and I've seen a ton of them. Oh, and I'm enjoying the same cold and rain as you, down here in southeast L.A.
