Description

For Burns Night, another quick NATURAL SCENE DESIGNER offering. I was playing about with the sky, and getting nowhere, so I changed my POV and caught the icy wind coming off the Kilnshire hills. The peaty water looks quite cold in this render, below the hulking 'Twa Tailors'.. Yesterday the hailstone showers kept setting off car alarms in my area. Looks like they are about to do so again... Ah well, only another 5 months, or so, to the fortnight of summer we seem to get in Scotland ;o)

Amazing capture of a wonderful solitary landscape, almost like a painting with the softness of the bold colors and the wonderful lighting streaming in through the clouds in a very impressive composition. Excellent done, John!
