Description
I stopped at Weir's beach on the way home from work today. It was still cool when this was taken in late afternoon, but we'd had sun all afternoon, and the colours in the sky and sea, and on the sand were lovely.
In this shot, I'm looking south-west, and the near peninsula is William Head, where I work. In the distant background, are the lovely Olympic mountains which are in Washington state.
Weir's beach has the most wonderful driftwood and has those certain tides quite often which bring truckloads of seaweed onto the beach. You can smell it a mile away, but it doesn't last long, as all is collected by gardeners.........
Thanks for your visit and for any comments.

Fine POV and DOF in this mood capture of Weir's Beach. It looks cold out there. Incidentally, one of my cousins lives in Washington State.
