Description

Ann and I went to the local iris farm at the end of May, and I took about a million pictures. Ummm ... okay ... maybe 300 or so. (I am perhaps prone to exaggeration.) The big, showy, bearded iris blooms stand well above their leaves, but this more standard beauty was hiding amongst much taller greenery. I didn't sneak around at all for this shot. They welcome photographers, and I even asked first, and told the nice woman who owns the place how to find my gallery.

now i thought it was only men that exaggerated :o)..like jeff we have a clump of these that if not divided will take over in a short space of time .the only thing i find is the flowers can be very short lived .your capture of flowers tara is really perfection the colours and detail always show so well .wonderful capture as always my friend :o) mick
