Description

In the beginning Draconis was a giant red sphere. It’s entire mass covered by a boiling ocean of molten rock. Repeated collisions of smaller space debris, continually bombarded the planet. As the collisions tapered off, Draconis began to cool and contract. Gases under the crust escaped and formed clouds. Soon it began to rain for a thousand years. Lakes and oceans formed all across the surface. Finally after two billion years, pressure and heat in the center of Draconis, pushed up solid land to form continents. After three billion years, great sheets of ice began to cover its surface. As the ice spread over the land, it gouged great valleys, rivers and lakes into the surface. 8000 years passed, the glaciers melted, and the ice age ended.
