ok this is first attempt at grass yes i did you a tutorial to get the basics. so just tell me what you think.

The grass should be more uniform, and shorter. Other then that, the lighting and texturing looks good.

I agree. This would work great as straw or hay if you changed the colour, but for grass it should be more uniform. As for the length, this depends on when it was last cut. You should see my lawn. Lol!

I disagree with the thought of more uniform grass. It may be uniform in a lawn, but not in the wild. The chaos makes this look better, or more realistic. The only issue I have is that the grass seems a little to tall.

General fault is too big haos with grass angle and too low segmentation by length. For more realistic look try to bend it. About color - make base a little darken for simulating selfshadoving near the ground
