This is my ex girl frends son Ernie , I did this one in 2005 , it lost a little detail in the face on scane Ill have to do something about that later.

How nice! Maybe a bit more work on the nose. (But only slight) Work in that it's too prominent and needing to be subdued behind the nostrils. Hair is hard to get a good sheen, but you did rather well here. Scanning images always need Photoshop enhancing. Either that or Gimp. (Freeware version) A nice portrait and hopefully your now "Ex" was pleased at the time.
