"It is the function of art to renew our perception. What we are familiar with we cease to see." ---Â Anais Nin
For me, art has always come in waves and whims and managed to be all consuming. If you were to see inside my place you would  find me buried in spiral notebooks and journals filled with words and images that have been waiting to turn into something other than chaos.
Seriously, though...I have always been one of those artists that starts something and never quite finds the capacity to finish a piece. Maybe it is just the nature of art...always drawing on our passion to add just "one more detail" or "write just one more line."
I have been lurking through the galleries here for several weeks and seen some mindblowing images and am probably way out of my league by even being here but... I love what I do and seeing what other artists do. It's just a natural high for me.

hehe - nice shot, shame it isnt a bit bigger. Even 600px would be fine (and that is on the small side of things for shot on here). Like the blues and composition. Welcome to the posting side of being a member here! :)

Yes, I agree with inshaala about the size, but I can tell it is a beautiful image. Welcome to the group!

I'll see if I can't do something about the size. My true love is with paper and pencil but, I never leave home without a camera (even if it is on my phone) and have gotten some wonerful photos.
