Description

Yes I find a boat to go in and I can even put that easy chair in the boat too. Yes sir I be all set up then ; just need a motor. hahhaha thought this is funny here. This is in that old building I been photographying. I took this a long time ago and never posted it. I thought I have some fun here. Going to post more of Lake Martin. I was going to go check out a diff place yesterday but it was too cold for the walk. I had to walk there and I was not feeling too good as it was; plus the sun was not out. I did make a Gumbo and it was good too for cold times. There a lot of recipes on the net for gumbo. Make sure they from louisiana or it be soup. There is a big diff between the two. I make one with chicken; deer sauage and a diff type of sauage I can not spell lol start with a A. sorry thanks for comments and looking and votes too.

Ouch, what a mess! It doesn't look like the shrimp boats is a-comin! It looks like a mass of black, gooey tar at the bottom of the photo. Good POV, anyway.

LOL, think that boat's gonna need at least some duct tape and chewing gum to get it afloat! And, gumbo, oh yes, I LOVE gumbo, and jambalaya, the hotter the better!!

digimon got the sauge right. if you dont have that do not worry. Make it with what you have. i made a steak gumbo one time and every one was mad at me . They wanted steak not gumbo; but I just had seven steaks for eight people lol

I think you'll need a lot of Gumbo to warm you back up if you take that boat out. Great sense of humor and shot. Now I'm going to look me up a gumbo recipe lol.

After a while you've seen so much of that stuff it makes you forget the sadness I bet. It still hits me hard like a ton of bricks. Gotta love that gumbo.

I thought at first it was a left over from the last hurricane. very photogenic Jock. I have heard that the recipe for gumbo is what ever you want to put in, whatever is not growing in the leftovers.I seen Emeril make it on tv and it had enough fat to give a coronary to a lion

"If I had a boat, I'd go out on the ocean. And if I had a pony, I'd ride him on my boat!" This is a great shot, my friend. Can I have my gumbo without sausage or steak? I like chicken (the white parts) and shrimp. Is it still gumbo without sausage? I hope so. It's cold here today, and that sounds nice.

just make the roux. And you need for no fat is just put the flour in a pan and make it light brown, you got to stir it all the time. If you burn just a little bit start over again. Add to water or stock. i use stock if I can. Emeril is doing it the old way which is good but if you looking for lean then leave out the oil and fats. Taste the same too lol

You might need a bit better conditioned boat. Not good in an crocks infested swamp where you wanna go. Great and somehow fun shot.

I love making Gumbo and I have made it many different ways. And its always made with a good LA recipe. Is there any other way to make it? Love this photo. Seems to me this boat is about done with any service though. :-)
