Description

This is a place near our home called Blackberry Farm, a resort that offers everything from fly fishing to hot air ballooning and everything in between. This is just a glimpse of its 4,200 acres located in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and this was taken in the winter.... in the fall it is breathtaking!

This is pretty, but I'll bet it really is gorgeous in the fall. I miss the fall colors that I grew up with in the east.

I saw as we were passing through that the chiefs of Pilot truck stops and Ruby Tuesday were building a resort there. I finally spoke to the maintenance man just up the hill here where the orange grove was pulled and the local owner of Flying A truck stop is building Grand Central Park. Is this what a billion dollars looks like or only 100 million? Private property is more than fresh air. I've been welcomed to some and chased off others.
