This is a fantastic capture! I love the little guy's demure pose here. It's funny, too, because I just learned a weird trivia fact. When bats leave caves, they always (exclusively) turn left for some odd and so-far-unexplained reason. I learned that last night and saw this image today...talk about synchronicity!

Fantastic shot Chris, glad you're back with us. This looks like its been taken outside in day light, I have always associated bats with dark caves and lofts in peoples houses. I know of a farm not far from where I live, he has half a dozen perched on the rafters in his bedroom. Well he used to it's been about five years since I drove past the place. This is excellent, how you managed to get so close to the little critter. Bravo!!!!!
