THE HOLE: CONSUMER CULTURE is a graphic novel by John Jennings and Damian Duffy. An interesting story about voodoo and modern culture. It is being published by Chicago based publisher; Front 40 Press (www.front40press.com) and distributed by the University of Chicago Press. The book will be in the press' catalog and should be out in April 2008 for purchase. It is the first of a two-part graphic novel. To commemorate the release of our first graphic novel John decided to put a call out to us artists over at the Steve Niles forums (wwww.steveniles.com) and invite us to participate in the doing character studies for The Hole promotional pin up book being released through Lulu (www.lulu.com). That said this is my contribution, my concept for John's character Curtis Cooper, who has become The Hole. What is The Hole? Dont know but the visual was something I just had to take a crack at myself.
