excellent capture. I went into a submarine in Galveston and I feel for the crew that stays for months at a time.very close quarters

Great that some sub mariners were topside to give scale to this image. I don't think I would like to do a tour of duty aboard on of these, maybe a quick tour round the harbour but no more than that. I have every respect for the lads that sail in these but I prefer corned beef in a can not me. Excellent capture, you do not say which base they are returning to though? Bravo!!!!!

My sons and I went aboard the HMS "Porpoise" one sunday. I remember the twin Deltic V-24s and the sonar room. I took the crew on a tour of West Palm Beach a few nights later after meeting them at the Sheraton listening to FTD.
