Description

This image is based on a quotation by Katherine Butler Hathaway about creativity and its difficulties. It was one of my winning entries in the DAZ 'Inspirations' contest. The image is dedicated to my friend: 'Dragonmuse'. Someone asked what the rainbow was for: The rainbow is symbolic. This picture takes us through the pain of creativity to the glory of it. Maybe its just a simple cup of tea afterwards... sometimes that's all there is! Should be legible on the full size view. Katherine Butler Hathaway also said: "There is nothing better than the encouragement of a good friend". So thanks for looking and thank you very much for your previous comments. Sorry about the watermark. It has become a necessary. 10 of my images were recently discovered on a website without my permission. All my work has always contained an embedded digital ID with cannot be removed, even if cropped and it registered to me.

Absolutely beautiful! The coleus leaves are gorgeous, the little rainbow an added bonus and the poetry, well, it just all fits together so well! Brilliant work!

This is great somehow Peter. It is a fantastic render. A very original one. The yard outside, looking through the window is amazing. A very nice dedication to Dragonmuse. But it got me curious too.. makes me wanna know what kind of writer she was. It is wise words.. and im gonna try to find out who she was. I think this is a saying of hers too. If you let your fear of consequence prevent you from following your deepest instinct, then your life will be safe, expedient and thin. Katharine(Or Katherine.. not sure yet) Butler Hathaway. It must be the same woman.. her wisdom taken into consideration.

I like the contrast of the cold, dark, and barren world outside with the with the plants, warmth, and light inside. Excellent quote. Beautiful light and detail and wonderful composition. A relaxing cup of tea, while you consider a work in progress is a great way to recharge. Lovely image and mood!
