Description
Way up in Alaska is a place no one has ever seen before, as it was always covered in Ice and Glaciers Hundreds of feet think. But alas no more as Global warming is Killing our beloved Gia Planet one day at a time with our Human pollutions called We don't care about things around us we are human jerks that can destroy anything we want to, so there,,,,then sits and /pouts like a child..or at least that is what it looks like to people that actually care about this planet and having a balance in this Universe anyway. And only Idiots at this point will say there is no Global warming and that it is a shame, but hay those are the people that do not need to have children so they do not pass there genes on in the gene pool as far as I am concerned /chuckles......Be it as it may, this is what it is beginning to look like way up North, so that means when it melts that is another 40 feet higher the Ocean will be. Gone will be London, Gone will be Part of Italy, gone will be much of the Midwest in the Us, Gone will be Holland, and the list goes on and on and on. So when are we going to wake up and do something about it? No chit guys and gals we have less then 4 years to make that change or we toast I fear, we do not have 5 years or 10 or like most like to think 20 years before it all kills us and the planet. So again I ask, what are YOU going to do about it other then say, hay there is nothing I can do. If you find yourself saying that and reading this, then you are not in very good shape and need to check your tude and join the living in a new race to save this wonderful planet we live on if you want to live a long life and even more important, what about your children, don't you care about them at all?
I sure as hell am working on doing my part in as many ways as I can, from riding my bike as much as I can instead of using my Mini Van at least until I can make my Van Green in some way as buying new cars that are Green is all fine and dandy, but hay wouldn't it be cool to upgrade your car you have now for less then 5 grand and be green and no longer use gas any more? I sure as hell want to and I am working toward that every day I live now. So we need to stick it to all the Gas companies all over the world and send them a message they won't forget and maybe, just maybe they and we may get the clue to survive the next 20 years.
A Historical point of view at this World Crises we are facing right now in 2008. And it needs to be fixed before Dec 21 2012, or we one dead race. maybe that is for the best after all, do we deserve to live in this Universe if we cannot balance this Planet? I think not. Frankly there just is no more time to say this in a nice way.

I do think much needs to be done to preserve our lives as we know it, however, I also have a deep belief in the survival of life. We cannot fear what we don't know and it has been proven that evolution can occur in a very short time span - as much as only one year can change a species for adaptation to a harsher environment. Darwin proved this in his travels to the Galapagos with wrens. I don't want to see things change but I also think that we will find a way to change with our habitat. I have no faith that enough can/will be done to stop our ruin, but much can be done to adapt. Sad? I don't know... As for this image, I find it to be very appealing. The misting and the lichen make it a wonderful view.

Hey man....cool image....just had to comment. I do believe man...and women, pollute too much. I do NOT believe we are causing the major changes in our environment. I am religious and believe in almighty God...the destruction of this earth is up to him and not up to us....he will not allow man to destroy his creation...that right is reserved for him. We are not Gods...we don't have the power to destroy this earth. The earth is 4/5s water...of the inhabital land (1/5th), man inhabits a small portion of this due to mountains, deserts, lakes and other uninhabital areas. How can such a small portion effect the entire planet....well...it can't. Check out the documentary "Trinity and Beyond", it documents all the Nuclear and Atom bomb testing from the 1940s to the present. We "earthlings" lit off enough bombs to change this planets orbit....but, we're still here. If that did'nt destroy us then...nothing will. Finally, a quote from the Bible "What will it profit a man if he gain the whole world, and loose his soul". This world was not made to last...even as beautiful and majestic as our earth is...I know...heaven is a better place. Peace :)
