Description

Here is a picture I have been playing with... I put this one in the January Forum Challenge, Monochrome/Black and White. This is my beautiful daughter. I took this picture last year, and it's been in a folder, because I wanted to do something to it, but didn't know what. This is my first "alteration" and have a couple more. Anyway, my baby girl celebrated her 18th birthday this week... I cannot believe how time has flown by! Thanks for your comments and views on my previous upload, "Orchid at an angle". I like this a bunch! I'm not really the artsy type but there's an air of mystery and subtle ferocity I see in those eyes. Very nice!

its a beautiful photo you have done. dont blink or you'll miss the next 18 years too. my daughter is 16 soon, i find that very hard to believe as to where the years have gone.

Splendid contrast in this B&W portrait of your lovely 18-year old "baby" girl, which kind of makes me laugh because when I was that age I was already in the Army, overseas, slogging my way through Philippine mud.
