Description

I wanted to render something in Vue 6 Esprit so I came up with this. I tried rendering in version 6.5 but the program kept crashing. Reverted back to 6 and everything worked again ... well, at least the program didn't crash. :-) The car model is a freebie from DMI and the girl is Stephanie Petite 3.0 morphed in FaceShop Pro with some post-work in Painter and PSP. BTW, I've had no luck importing dynamic cloth into Vue. Does anyone know of a good tutorial? Thanks for commenting and I'll get to everyone's gallery as time permits.

Pretty lighting and I really like the woman's facial morphs. She doesn't look like your usual Daz model. Well done!

What a fun render. I remember the Austin Mini Cooper that my friend had during my High School years. (Early seventies) It had the kind of interior space that defied it's small exterior. People would be amazed when I; 6'4", my friend; 6' and 350 lbs, and a third friend; 6'5" would all exit the car. We would all fit comfortably inside the small car. BMW's version isn't as charming as the much cheaper original but it is a sportier and much faster rendition.

I'd say this was a very fruitful excercise. The car looks great, although I would imagine the render time to achieve any further reflection from the gorgeous coachwork would be very restrictive although I am not conversant with the software you used to render the image. You certainly know your way around 3D and I congratulate you on your talent. Well done! Steve :o)

Face, hair, clothes, reflection, car, lighting - all great! I used to have to use work-arounds to get dynamic cloth into Vue 5 but with Vue 6 Esprit I have been able to import directly and it all worked OK. Make sure you select an appropriate frame and not the start one, but other than that, for me it just worked! Good luck with it.

Everything is very upfront. What is bugging me about it is the seats. Doesn't it have a rear seat? Why is there a roll bar hoop on the driver's side so far back or separated from the passenger seat which has a head rest and no roll bar hoop? Where she is standing I can't see the far edge of the back seat. I tried in my mind picturing seat backs pulled forward to access the rear seat or reclined but alas I am left with a puzzle. It looks like a very well made prop. DMI has had some outstanding ones over the years. What gives?
